March Greenway Fundraiser With Fun Kick-Off Party and Other FREE Events
Raise a pint for us at Oklawaha Brewing, 147 First Ave E, Hendersonville. During the entire month of March, Friends of the Oklawaha Greenway will get a portion of every beer sale. As the designated organization of the month, Oklawaha Brewing generously donates a portion of their profits. Money raised will be used for things like buying plants for the memorial garden, creating signage for the new bird trail, and paying for our domain name and website. No charge for these events.

Kick-Off Party
• Friday, March 3rd
To get the month started, join us at Oklawaha Brewing for a fun-filled night. Festivities begin at 6PM with Hendo's ever popular singer songwriter, John Perkins.
From 6-7:45, tickets will be sold for a 50/50 raffle and other prizes. (50% to winner; 50% to FoOG). Please bring cash to purchase tickets. Drawing around 8:00. Must be present to win!
At 8PM, the multi-talented Downtown Trio Deluxe will keep the dance tunes coming. The trio features Peggy Ratusz on lead vocals and percussion; versatile guitar virtuoso and singer, Kelly Jones; and Bob “the Bassman” Songster. The varied grooves they lay down will bring you to the dance floor. From Rockin' Blues to Rock n’ Roll; 60’s, Motown and Old School Soul.
This will be the primo party you won’t want to miss!
Everything Greenway Day
• Friday, March 17th
Join us and have a green beer at Oklawaha Brewing on St. Patrick's Day. Representatives from the current and future area greenways will be there to show off their routes and answer questions. In attendance will be the Friends of the Ecusta Trail, the City of Hendersonville’s Clear Creek extension of the Oklawaha Greenway, Conserving Carolina for the Saluda Grade Trail, and Land of Sky Regional Council for the Hellbender Trail. Of course, we’ll be there too: The Friends of the Oklawaha Greenway! Networking begins at 5PM with presentations at 5:30.
Keepin’ It Clean Day

Wind and high water constantly carry litter that collects along the Oklawaha Greenway. Help us with spring cleaning by signing up for two hours to pick up litter: 11
